Yeah, that's a Tesla in that photo. Their batteries are made from lithium. Water won't put out the fire. Those fires have been driving firefighters nuts and ticking them off.

However, Rivian batteries are solid state. They don't go on fire from water and firefighters can use water to put out a fire from a solid state battery....if one was to go on fire.

You're right, though, another reason to avoid a Tesla if you're in an area prone to foul weather.
