Trump even tried to withhold money for military equipment for Ukraine that had already been approved by Congress to get back in Vlad's good graces. But surely that wouldn't have benefitted Putin, who was definitely not getting ready to invade Ukraine, it was all about MAGA.
The pairing of The Art of the Deal and Donald Trump is an oxymoron, by all accounts Trump has been a terrible negotiator throughout his career. Name one thing Trump did while in office that benefitted anyone other than himself, his family, and a few cronies. The idea that he would put something on the line for someone else is laugh out loud funny.
