What's "the left"? It's the kind of term you throw around as if it has some meaning. I don't get it, it seems to me to be a phrase that excludes any kind of nuance that we encounter in actual real life.
I believe I've asked you two or three times already to please define what it means to you. If you want to be taken seriously, because otherwise you just come off as a lightweight tossing up word salads. Oooh, "the left".
If you can't explain what you mean the term is meaningless, sort of like calling anyone you don't like a communist or whatever. You don't think there are staunch fiscal conservatives who are socially progressive? What boxes must be checked to be a person on "the left"?
