Love it. Now for my latest fun Chicago story. Yesterday after paying a bill and doing a spot of shopping i bussed and trudged (not far) to the General Gordon on the way. home. Bought a beer and settled into the idea of a few $1 each ways on whatever races were running. I know there is some animal cruelty involved in racing, but a few of the horses and dogs have told me they enjoy it too. So first race coming up was race 1 Funabashi. The research method is first to look at the names. Then at the odds. Between about 5 and 15 are usual odds taken. The first name that caught my eye, eh, LOL Chicago Fountain. .. umm would be fun if i backed it and it won. Would be fun to tell the story. Odds showed about 30. Long but wth, it's only $2.
