This is why you get pushback from so many. Children learn and develop on their own time table, which is why when they want to know about why they have sexual they are free to learn about them. Children learn better when they are given the tools to learn, suppressing them is a disservice and can lead to destructive behavior. Your version of freedom sounds quite restrictive.
