i agree with dave here.

all of us who have been here over a decade, financially AND emotionally invested in this, have been crushed by the court's decision... disappointed yes, but suprised no... all of us should have been prepared for this scenario as it was a very high risk play for anyone actually paying attention equally to both the upside & the downside potential.

it's natural for emotion to kick in here as humans. but that's the first rule in investing, not to get emotional, right? to blame thom may be a natural emotional reaction and its understandable. there may be substance to criticism of methods & execution. but let's say hypothetically he's just taken his paycheck while doing nothing for the company... even if that were true, nobody is as crushed here as he is, financially, or emotionally.... so i'm sure he yearns far more than any of us to piece together whatever is left of this. no one can blame thom for the lost court case, let's be fair. the decision was disingenuous to a tangible IP at the time of inception, and was clearly not based on fairness... and likely rooted in all sorts of muck. as we have seen before, patent litigation is no joke, and so often the good guys lose - let's face it, legit IP gets stolen all the time & the thieves get away with it more often than not.

i didn't get on this stock for any promise of income, and was well aware of the risk, volatility and david vs. goliath realities.... so it's no surprise to me that it has turned out this way. i made a bunch, and lost a bunch, but payed attention so not as much as i could have, and certainly not as much as some others.

hopefully all is not lost - and i don't mean via some silly NFTs. at the end of the day, there are good lessons here: don't invest any more than you're willing to lose, understand IP / litigation stocks are a complete gamble, be cautious, and really dive as deep as possible into learning about whatever you choose to invest your money in.

good luck to everyone here
