Al Cooper was the de facto leader of The Blues Project, along with Danny, as
I recall. He had a constant need to "change partners,"
and soon came Blood Sweat & Tears, for him.

Johnny Kalb, DK's younger brother, could really play his
ass of, but was small in stature and that tended to
diminish him, in his own eyes. I thought he had it
better put together than Danny, honestly. I loved playing
with him back then.
