Once again, the Republicans have a chance to find themselves, to put forth their plan on the issues of the day, but that would be hard, that would be political. Another reason they lost the midterm elections, another reason why when the American people do vote they keep losing more and more supporters.

They only represent themselves; they do not represent the voice of the American people. They are controlled by the very people who give them money to do what they want. That is why they keep losing elections.

Fortunately, America is much bigger than any election, it is the ideals that our founding fathers envisioned for all of us. It does get better, but the progress can be measured slowly, in one's own lifetime.

President Biden came along at just the right time, he might not go down as a great President, but he will go down as the one who kept democracy alive for the next generation. I think his legacy will be measured against that backdrop, keeping democracy alive.

He is a smart politician; he knows how to deal with these republicans, just like we all witnessed when they missile strayed off course and landed in Poland. He knows how to react, in a measured, thoughtful approach. Sure, glad he has the office of President for at least the next two years.
