interesting point of view ------

as I heard it ---- BANKS told F and F - whose market share was declining and needed to chase business per the speaker !! --- you take our subprime or we take our business elsewhere

did I hear that right? (not sure I agree as to how much F and F contributed - but this idea that BANKS used a temporary weak market position (2003-2005?) to push bad paper on F and F or else ?
