Seen what the Euro has done lately? Fiat is something to turn as fast as you can as its unbacked money. At our age we can still remember real money. My dad used to give me a buck for lunch cause the gal that took our lunch money at school would give me change my $.70 in change in 90% silver. Do you know what that $.70 cents of pre 64 I got back in 1965 is worth now? Howabout $19.43 in our fiat. The coins still look about the same the content not so much..

Yes different objectives but mostly I prefer Au/Ag to Cash. If you are going to hoard something let it be GOLD and SILVER with intrinsic value and a wonderful history of value!. I have a distaste for fiat I would rather have metal first and the cash second. I still convert my fiat to the PM's frequently. PM stocks are the tweener as they straddle the fence between the hard assets and paper assets since there underlying assets are the PMs. So if Jason stored Gold and SIlver in bar form thumbs up from me. How about $20,000,000 in Au/Ag instead of fiat. The way we are printing the fiat no way it can continue to buy gold at current prices.....Have you been watching the action in the ME. China is talking with the Arabs about paying for Oil with AU. How long will the Arabs keep taking unbacked printed as much as you want fiat when they are getting gold or silver from the Chinese?
