fuagf, you've commented that you use firefox. I don't know what version you have now, mine is 105.3 blah blah. But in case you didn't notice included with firefox for at least the last 10 versions is a little 'page' icon on the far right of the address field toolbar.

What it does is if you click while open to a webpage it will turn the entire page into a text only page. No big pics, extra inserts or ads, and no side nonsense just straight text. It isn't always there, just mainly on anything with paragraph structures like news.

A quick going over and you can eliminate even the little article links and stuff.
