Shortsighted to say the least, not taking into account technological developments that are certain to occur over a 27 year time frame.

I take eliminating fossil fuels as a goal that will certainly, beneficially, reduce rather than eliminate dependence.

It was ridiculous to assert that the Model-T would eliminate horse drawn carriages and result in nationwide paved roads.
