THRM – Here’s a variation on the device-utilization metric I was talking about in the prior post. During 4Q06, U.S. docs who own a Thermage device performed an average of 4.8 procedures per month or 14.4 procedures for the quarter. Since there were 62 business days in the quarter, this comes to 0.23 procedures per doc per business day.
Even after accounting for docs who leave at 3 to play golf and don’t work on Fridays, that’s a pathetic number, IMO.
