The PROBLEM is that people start hyping preliminary "NON-BINDING" events like signing LOI's or beginning audits ...or even things as minimal as the filing of a trademark of launching a website... as if that somehow guarantees a deal will be completed. Yet even if a merger is achieved, that alone is no guarantee of meaningful business activity much less profits.
IMO all this early grandiosity and euphoria is not unwarranted but potentially dangerous.
