History always puts every in their proper place in the comparison of all Presidents.
You become a footnote in history, some footnotes stand out. I always give a nod to Eisenhower for the Interstate System of roads. I remember heading out to the Midwest back in 1969-70. Pennsylvania was still not finished, and there were two sections that were under construction. The detour roads took me for long rides, and I was so happy when I got back on the Interstate.
Interstate 80 was straight line shot to Iowa, sure there were toll roads in Ohio and Indiana.
After time, history only remembers a few things, it is that simple.
