It is equivalent to life sentence. There is no such interest terms in civilized world. And, the amendment is made between UST and FHFA, both of which are government parties."

I just don't know what the lawyers are doing. The jury should hear that repayment, at the time of the conservatorships, was 10 %, which was a predatory lending rate. When the NWS was started, the repayment interest rate, if you will, went to 100%, making it impossible for the GSEs to ever repay the government. Simply put, the government intended to kill the GSEs.
