I merely asked you a question and you provided insight that I would not normally understand. Please don't be frustrated by opinionated people who don't have your knowledge.

I'm not a bird watcher but I do have a couple around here who are close enough to be pets and I have nothing against them. I was just wondering how they could be so careless as to fly into a turbine. I've had a random one or two fly into my windows over the years and meet their demise but I just thought it was because the windows are gas charged and appear a little tinted in the daytime so they thought it was an opening to fly through. I've rarely witnessed them flying at night unless it was a bat or an owl.

I have a story about a massive something that looked like it could have plucked me up one late evening but that's for another day.

Your opinions are as valuable as anyone else's and since you have actual boots on the ground it gives people like me a perspective that I normally wouldn't have appreciated beyond a google search.

Please continue to share because I, for one, would certainly like to know more. smile
