was never a fan of wine but we did have what we called jungle juice on the links and sometimes at parties.
It was basically gallons of various fruit juices and everclear alcohol mixed into a large bin, then poured into smaller ones. At the parties we would throw fresh fruits in there too and serve it like punch. Almost like a psyched up sangria.
The only bad thing was the stuff left stains, very bad stains and at parties drunk people spill stuff so we got a little more refined. Fishing was always just beers for the same reasons lol, not so much the stains but rogue waves and expensive booze lead to depression.
It used to be this time of year that I would crave some hot apple cider. The real stuff that the farmers make, not the crap they sell on the shelves.
Thick full of pulp, brown in color and just delicious. I still like my natural apple juice, it's just missing that "kick" nowadays and I have to be careful where I get it from to make sure it's the unleaded version. I'll heat up a mug full every once in awhile and pretend.
