MY WAG is WMI rises from the ashes OR from BEHIND THE CURTAIN.............

WMI just went (COVERED THEIR BUTTS) BK to protect and that was done, BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN WMI is NO LONGER or ever went away.

I've said it before let's say THEY WENT INTO AN ADMINISTRATIVE HOLD(BK) until their monies freed up from the LONG TERM BONDS and then add that to the FUNDS in the DST and RISE AGAIN

For all intents COOP would only need to issue shares IF IF IF they were buying say assets from us, but if IF IF WMI doesn't sell those assets and starts again with them, WHAT THEY (WMI)DO OWE IS US for is our positions we once held in the company
