Opinions will differ, but if you're asking my opinion directly by replying to me? I don't believe it was Foote's mindset to carry out a scam. I just think he was/is naive, bit off more than he could chew, was never prepared to take his "idea" to a publicly traded company, a guppy swimming with sharks. Regarding some (more than just some???) of the boneheaded moves made by this company, was it really Foote's doing? Or was it his team members and others who came to him with a pivot plan and said "Why don't we try (fill in the blank)?" And without wearing a critical-thinking cap, he said "Sure, why not?" Regarding the "double secret probation" RS fiasco and the 85% equity agreement to enrich Foote, his friends and family -- I can see why some think it was a scam from the get go. But that was Sharp's doing. I don't believe Foote was smart/street savvy enough to pull that off. But anyway, IMO, the original business plan has become complicated and discombobulated. There is a reason Foote turned off the comment section on social media as more and more shareholders started to ask "What the hell are we doing?"
