If you read what Musk's plans are for Twitter, it could very well worth much more down the road vs building from scratch and trying to build a platform following. Like he says, it would take several years to develop an app to pull together 200-300 million users like Twitter says thet have already and there's no guarantee. That's why he wants a realistic accounting of how many users actually has without the bots. Also Twitter seems to have reached its peak after all this time going in the same direction. Changes need to be made to make it grow. That's Musk's plan.

Also, if your plan is to expand the company and turn Twitter into his planned " everything app", used for all sorts of purposes,.it could very well be worth the shortcut and using Twitter as the basis for his own app and multipurpose.

Twitter is a short cut for Musk's" everything app" and he believes that he can " tweak" Twitter and have a billion users like China's social media version and he can pull in over a billion users.

If that's true and if I'm understanding what he is trying to accomplish here, then Twitter or the ""Everything App", down the road, could quite possibly be worth considerably more.

The things that musk companies are working on could very well be linked to obtaining Twitter and personally I believe that if you follow the things that he's delving in,. Twitter won't be just a site for rumors, fake news and trolls, it will be a multipurpose site used for a variety of things. Based on what I've read, that's why he believes Twitter users could grow tremendously and serve a multipurpose.

I'm curious as to if he has something in development, or plans to use Twitter for some purpose involving some of the AI his company (s) are working on. He's clearly not planning on Twitter being plain ole Twitter for very long. (based on reports I've read). Can it grow to a billion plus users. I don't see why it couldn't if it's used for all the things described in the articles I've been reading.

Not a pump, I don't own it, but he's not buying it just to be buying it and let it stay what it is right now.
