brooklyn13, Sorry. Not many at all of articles about Trayvon and others mention rights violations and abuse in other countries. Sorry, that is not done unless that particular context is desired to be included by the author(s). You have a bee in you bonnet Israel is hard done by, and that's fair enough. Others have too. And there is antisemitism put down to conspiracy and other junk. Much of that is obviously wrongheaded. However that does not go at all to your misguided notion that every article re discrimination and abuse in Israel must also include comparative or similar content re the same in other countries.
Pick any number of articles.

I don't think many would argue any of the articles lack context. Israel misses a mention here:

Canada and Australia get a mention here to create a little more context.

If they weren't though, not many would argue the article lacked context. Also note, that one goes to your claim this board to you seemed to be part of a vendetta against Israel. That in essence was how our disagreement started. And yeah, plus then your misguided 'needed for context' thing.
"Yes and no. The racial part wouldn't be justified in the context of the rest of the world, but the shooting part would. It is often commented upon about how the US leads the world in the gun deaths per capita, as you well know.
P - You're doing apples and oranges. By virtue of commenting on other countries' policies, we are automatically bringing in other countries as context. Not all shootings of black guys by white guys in America are racial, even if unjustified.
P - Sorry, not wrongheaded."
Your initial point was that other countries must be included to create context and to be fair. Fair to Israel. Obviously other countries can be brought in it you want to create that context. But no way they have to be.
Your worst wrongheadedness was your contention that Israel was singled out for criticism
while others were not. On this board and elsewhere.
C'mon. No big deal. Cheers.
