To me it's doubtful that speakers from most of the countries you listed wouldn't elicit protest against their speaking.

In fact I think it would be surprising if students in the groups that voted for condemnation wouldn't debate, 'if we're being consistent shouldn't we also object to.....?'

What am I missing? If the law students decided to condemn speakers from all countries that treat minority populations poorly, that's fine by me
