Doubt has been cast on the contents of the FOIA response letter. I have validated two points regarding the legitimacy of that response letter.

(1) The sequence number is 22-02843. This number is consistent with the latest number listed for the end of August: 22-02812. We will know for sure in about a week by checking here: https://www.sec.gov/foia/docs/foia-logs

(2) The format of the letter matches a sample response letter found here: https://www.sec.gov/files/18-00721-T.pdf
