Interesting. Tablet is 5x8 Galaxy Tab with system font increased one size up, so that I can see better. When I look at landscape I do see the menu. I usually have it locked in portrait, so I had not noticed that.

It would be nice if the mail and favorites could still show when there isn't room for the entire menu, but I understand that is a change that needs to be approved and scheduled.
