Occasionally I hear of someone who has registered in two places to vote, like when they have moved, and a voting roll has not been updated. Back in the 1990s in Florida almost every election I went to you had two IDs, one photo, and the other that showed you had paid a utility bill and it had your address on it. But once that was done you were mailed your voter registration ID.

My polling place always stayed the same, I lived in the same condo for 10 years, so nothing ever changed much. New York was harder, but then I owned my home, so I was also on the real estate tax rolls. In New York they cross check everything, remember this is New York State, what our friend does not understand is that Blue States believe in updating everything, not just for voting, but real estate taxes. Then there are those pesky income taxes, really hard to hide in New York.

As a citizen of that State I was always on forms, when my child went to school, my business in town, even my boat dock was registered with the APA. Adirondack Park Agency. Voting was just something we all did, and we were one of those far away places, not like Albany, our votes had to taken someplace to be counted, bad weather and being in the woods can do that.
