I don't know if anyone on here is into cryptocurrency, but I've been trying to warn friends away from it for a while now. Unfortunately, the few who have made money in it, are always bragging on Facebook about how much they have made. It is the exact same game played by the penny stock pumpers, although right now on a much broader scale.
In yesterday's newspaper (yes, I still read newspapers), there was a big article about a celebrity star's father who had lost everything in crypto due to the scam run by Celsius Corp. If you haven't read about it, you should be aware.
What really blows my mind is at the end of the article, the guy says, if he could get his money back, he'd put it right back into crypto. Most people in the real world are unaware, but I'd certainly hope the people on IHUB, by now, totally recognize a scam when they see it.
Most people would say they are influenced in their investing mostly by fear. In truth, it is greed that drives them.
My question of the day is.....what's wrong with people?
