I see things like this, even locally where I'll come across a stone wall that is falling into disrepair, or an old barn is left to deteriorate into the ground, and I can't help but to think about the hard working people who put their sweat and tears into transporting the materials needed to make those things, and the hard labor that went into the construction.

And now, the structures, like the people who built them, are likely long forgotten.
