At March 31, 2022, there were 11,498,700 Public Warrants and 6,100,000 Private Placement Warrants outstanding (see Note 11 for further details), each of which entitles the holder to purchase one whole share of Class A Common Stock at a price of $11.50 per share. Each warrant exercise is accompanied by a corresponding issuance of AST LLC Common Units to the Company, which results in a change in ownership and reduces the amount recorded as noncontrolling interest and increases additional paid in capital.
