RC drills are generally rotary hammer drills that use a reverse circulation of air to produce and propel cuttings from the hole and are logged every 5-10 feet primarily for ore zone definition or confirmation (generally).

Core drilling do use diamond core bits to cut a core of the rock that's extracted and logged for lithology, rock structure, mineralogy, etc.. where more information is required on more of a comprehensive geological/mineralogical basis. This method is used to map the structure and trends of the mineral structure.

You should study up on refractory gold and silver processing because you're a bit off balance on your explanation there. Then you may realize what a risky venture Hycroft is and why they are drilling to find grade...A for Effort though!
