Niocorp is an 8 employee company. I have met and talked with most of those employees and can assure you they are all very knowledgeable and competent. You asked in particular about engineering. I am a mechanical engineer not chemical or a chemist. My education did include a couple semesters of college chemistry. I did take a number of courses in geology. Several years ago Nebraskan (one of our moderators) and I were privileged to sit and talk with Scott Honan for several hours. I asked him a raft of questions about various chemical and mechanical and geological topics. Never once did he hesitate, he never said let me check into that, he never referred to any notes. He answered every question clearly and thoroughly. I asked about solvent extraction. He pulled out a tablet, drew pictures of atoms and explained how these atoms bond together and get split apart.

Most of the people currently at Niocorp worked at Mountain Pass years ago. They are intimately familiar with mining and refining rare earths.

Scott and Mark Smith know a lot about specialty mining and who is who in the business. They utilize a variety of consultants that really are world class. Mark and Scott believe strongly that reports and data they publish must be beyond question. They hire independent experts to put this stuff together. When they publish a major update it will have 10-15 signatures of independent experts on it. Resumes of all these experts will be included.

One final fact: Mark Smith, the CEO, has a law degree and is a registered professional engineer. I asked him why he puts PE, ESQ after his name. He told he thinks being an engineer is a lot more important than being a lawyer.
