Ok. So if any party is able to stack the court they will always be able to get the decisions they want. Whether those decisions are a correct interpretation of the constitution or not. What's a correct interpretation? Dunno. Since Trump and McConnell were able to stack the present court to the level any tin-pot strongman - say Putin or Orban or Kim of N Korea - would be happy with, it seems there is a clear and present danger with the present set-up. The present court could be seen to be totally undeserving of any credibility., for one. It seems, if American democracy is to be preserved to any great degree or not, some changes would have to be made. Like for one, possibly mentioned here:

Or do you believe the fact Trump and McConnell were able to stack the SCOTUS as being relatively unimportant in the whole scheme of things. If Democrats had been as power-hungry and as manipulative as the two were, and had done the same in the past, how would you have felt.
