Sanofi-Aventis loses Lovenox US patent lawsuit; mulling further legal action
PARIS (AFX) - Sanofi (Paris: FR0000120578 - news) -Aventis said that the US District Court for the Central District of California has ruled against it in its patent infringement suit against generic manufacturers Amphastar and Teva to protect blockbuster Lovenox.
Sanofi-Aventis said it is currently evaluating its options for further legal recourse and will continue to vigorously defend its intellectual property rights.
