We have the right to have guns be made legally available. If you are a law abiding gun owner, they should not be punished because gang bangers in Chicago kill every weekend and a sick individual decides to go on a rampage.

Deal with those direct problems. Not a wholesale outlawing of guns.

I have two handguns. In my nightstand. So I can defend myself should someone enter my home. Police are stretched thin--and relying solely on the them to respond rapidly is not wise (especially when your side demeaned the police and departments are now short staffed).

Are you going to take the brave stand that I should not have a handgun available to me?
