Eris & Dennis: Dennis Miller

Well it's becoming abundantly clear to me that I've not seen Dennis Miller lately. Nor have I ever seen him uncensored.

Alas, much of my Miller viewing is old and from the networks, not cable. I remember seeing an old standup routine on the Comedy channel some time ago and was in hysterics.

I have, on very rare occasion, caught a few of his antics on Monday night football. It is very true that his references can get so obscure as to prohibit any consensus of laughter.

In fact, I understand there is now a web site dedicated to deciphering each oration.

When you get so obscure that you need, in essence, interpreters perhaps you've lost your real edge and should begin doing your schtick at Mensa conferences only. <G>
