Do you support teaching children the concept of gender fluidity in the schools?
Have you gone to seminars to try to understand why a family member transgendered?
Have you met with a "support group" for transgenders that smacked more of self-validation and less empathy?
Do you think that children should be making decisions on their gender generated by prompting in schools? Or should they just develop as children and not introduced to the concept of choosing their sex until much later in the schools?
BTW-- my family member regrets the transition and has unwound everything possible to go back to her original sex. But the hormones are gone unless they are expensively administered on an ongoing basis. And the bipolar condition suffered before the transition remains.
