Now - to beat inflation - as in the past 50 years - we know there is only one way -- high interest rates - at levels that choke economy and kill and kill jobs and more jobs

Then will people be happy - we got low inflation? (Retirees win - high bond rates and low inflation eating into fixed income)

No - Americans and media will point to job loss

A nation not pleaseable
