As for 'decoupling' from Trump? First of all you mean prying conservative lips from Trump's fat ass, right?

They were 'coupled' because they were and are unprincipled cowards who, like Trump's supporters, believed that the orange clown said what they think. Dems can remind voters of that inescapable fact to their benefit.

Secondly, decoupling from Trump is as risky as decoupling the Alien from a Nostromo crewmember's face. Anyway, Trump is STILL deep inside The GOP body politic.
