Ok, then Summers was with those who disputed Manchin's inflation comment re BBB. Let's face it any large stimulation would add to a danger of excess inflation unless fully funded, so Summer's comment on it all was not a hugely enlightened remark. Bottom line i reckon is we wouldn't be suffering the worldwide inflation we have if it wasn't for the Covid pandemic and Putin's war. So to put much blame on Democrats and Biden is unjustified political posturing.

Still Australian inflation could be one of the biggest factors in Morrison's conservatives losing the election on May 21. Our Reserve Bank hasn't raised the official tax rate since November 2010, though inflation now has the pressure on them ..
