They made it through COVID lockdowns, so I think they will find a way to be just fine. Plus, I don't think a vast majority will ever, just stop, paying their mortgage. It didn't even happen when the world came to a halt during COVID.

The system doesn't work without mortgage servicing. So, they will always tweak to accommodate situations.

Just need to be in the strongest servicers, like I believe $COOP is.

And getting stronger.

Here's an interesting article about mortgage servicing, and some actions being looked at to strengthen them. It bodes well for the strong, not so much for the weak.
