wEaReLeGiOn: It was the 60's, blacks did not hang in the bars with whites. I was station in El Centro, CA. Which was made up with people of the old Dust Bowl folks. So most folks were from the deep south. When they played Prides music everyone was sure he was white. Me too. If I bet it was a black singing and everyone would have took the bet.
