I remember my parents buying one of his albums, and I was very surprised to see he was black. I can still picture the album cover in my mind.

Well, who doesn't love a surprise?

I'm going to say that was mid to late 70's, I was a child listening to "The Wall" and had no time for that dude, lol.. I was not a fan =/
