yep. the difference between a free board and a premium one is pretty significant. It would be much easier for us if this was a premium board. So we could be fascist like the conservative No-Lib board types if we chose to. But we choose to let it flow most of the time, and it is basically a free for all, with occasional penalty box situations.

But we deal with the constant tensions, as a free board with premium amenities was a charter thing that F6 believed, in the spirit of free speech, actually. He put his money where his mouth was in funding the experiment. But free boards attract free-range bombers, and multiple alias morons that feel they can just spew untrue things without many consequences. In some quarters integrity and the truth still matters. Being the only free political board means we get most of flotsam and jetsam on IHUB at one time or another. And some of the best posters, too in a swirling kaleidoscope of shit and wild honey. Finding balance is hard, for no matter what action is taken, we hear about it. Sometimes we hear a lot about inaction, too, such as when someone is allowed to dominate posting for too much on one topic.
