Well, uh, yeah, Neuro, is a sort of a kind of a

if-I-could-just-stop-trying-to-riff-on-Woody-Allen,
make-excessively-extended-allusory-expository-introductions-
and-just-get-to-the-fucking-point-kind-of-way.

I read this and agreed, then I remembered that those run-ons of his used to be funny. Years ago (Time for me to date myself.) I remember the first couple of years that he had his own show, I thought he was brilliant. Now, when I catch a moment or two I'm almost embarrassed for him. He's definitely a man who has a flair for satire - but, like so many success stories, he became a caricature of his own persona and lost his edge. Everyone loved his little sardonic expressions so he just started making them for no good reason (think: Calista Flockhart). Now it's stupid. Oh well.
