B402, You disagreed with overwhelmingly worldwide leader opinion against NATO directly engaging Russia in Ukraine, now i get the impression you are directly against the opinion, again i'm guessing overwhelmingly worldwide, that Russia would be entitled to have some legitimate security concern about Finland joining NATO.

Are you saying Russia has no justification at all for any security concern regarding Finland and/or Sweden joining NATO. That's what i'm not clear on.

I get that Finland was Ukraine... if you mean by your "same outcome" Russia ends up with no Ukraine land .. that looks impossible as Ukraine has already given up some.

The Winter War began in November 1939 when Finland refused to agree
to the Stalin's demand to give up territory so he could push Russia's border westwards.

in 2014. And likely to end up giving up at least some little more. I would hope that wouldn't happen, but see it as more likely than not.

If you mean a peace treaty after some three months, i agree that would be good.
