DrBio - I misread the 4 day data for the 30 day data - but note that both were prespecified endpoints. Also note that even the 30 day ITT has a p value the same as MCU's PR'd numbers (p=~0.03).
Regardless, I would strongly suggest that anyone who wants to invest in MCU should understand, if possible, why Alexion's drug, with roughly the same p value in it's lead it trial AND with similar data in another ph ii (just as MCU has another intriguing trial), subsequently totally wiffed in the ph iii.
I will take Medicure's data anyday
I will humbly suggest that you are taking this too personally. This is not a contest between you and I, but a contest between us and the market. In science and in the market looking at your predecessors' failures is a very good plan. Are there some intriguing numbers in the MCU data? Yes, and the most interesting is the physician diagnosed MI (the CKMB defined MI's are dubious IMO).
