What the 74k tells me is they did increase it in the past year by 14,000 units. Because the 60,000 units has been displayed for so long without revenue associated with it I too concluded it was over all time and didn't reflect revenue producing products. I had been checking their website periodically to see if the number would increase as they reported sales through the fall and instead they pulled it. The 14,000 difference is real growth in the past year. It is also a number that reflects all hardware units sold.
What I do wonder is how many of those 14,000 units are on a subscription fee and how many will keep the service after the free trial ends? I think only Family Shield and Nimbo products have been shipped in the past year (because CU Track and Medallion haven't been 'deployed'). I don't think Nimbo has a subscription fee but we haven't seem much revenue so maybe they do and they got free service for the first year. Even if it is as low as 50% that puts us at close to a million in revenue next year with no other sales. If they can hit the 18,000 in the first month that would put the growth this year at 36,000 units. If IGEN starts indicating they will double revenues this year and again the year after investors will come.
