You have to go back some years to see the pattern of official violence towards black people as a state sanctioned way to "keep them in line". So of course it's fine that police are violent towards them in a way they rarely are to whites.
A black person can get shot in the back for running away from the cops while Kyle can stroll around with an automatic rifle. How many white people have been killed in their beds by police exercising no-knock warrants or by confusing a taser with a loaded handgun? A black man was shot in his own apartment while watching tv because a cop walked in and supposedly thought it was her place?
In my area, a relatively harmless black man was choked to death by police for selling single cigarettes. The stop and frisk fiasco was directed exclusively at black youth when everyone knows the kids who go to Dalton and Trinity and Collegiate are carrying far more drugs on any given day.
Despite the conservative push back against defunding the police, the police have not been defunded anywhere. It's a straw man used to fire up the base.
