Lol, Na, its NOT late. Sorta like when you are supposed to file your taxes by April 15th, but you or your accountant files "an extension of time to file". When you do that and file your taxes AFTER April 15th but before the "extension" runs out, then you are NOT late in filing your taxes. There's no "penalty" charged by the IRS. Of course, if you OWE money, you have to PAY by April 15th or they WILL charge you interest. But the filing itself is NOT late.
