conix, It's a silly rhetorical question based on ideological prejudice which any sincere person would never ask. Anyway, to play, this once. IF it works like that it would be partly a traditional thing. And partly because of voters who believe Biden is responsible for the Putin-fueled inflation thrust upon every country worldwide. To a large part it would be because enough voters will continue to be misinformed and misguided. Why? Because of a wave of propaganda misinformation and lies to a large part. And because some third of American voters still would vote for Trump, or for the party he still has an inordinate amount of control over. Since it's likely that less than 50% of eligible voters will vote it won't be much of a democratic exercise anyway. Whatever the result.
